GSAP was originally called the Ghana Literacy Project. In 2010, we renamed our activities the Ghana Sustainable Aid Project, and expanded our mission.
By 2013, the GSAP toilets led to GSAP becoming an international organization with work extended into South America and beyond. GSAP now stands for Global Sustainable Aid Project, and we still do non-sanitation-based projects in Ghana under GSAP-Ghana.
